Happy New Year and Looking Forward to Publication Day

Happy New Year!

Where did the Christmas period go? I guess it didn’t help that hubbie and I came down with a virus part way through December and we are only just starting to feel right again. I had to cancel all of my pre-Christmas meet ups, which made me feel even more fed up.

And now the Christmas decorations are in the loft and my youngest son back at university, so I’m trying to get back into a routine.

My favourite Christmas present was a book containing a 60 Day course on Zentangle – a form of meditative doodling. I am really enjoying learning the patterns that make up these 4 cm square doodles. I promise not to share too many of these, but here are a few…

We spent New Year’s Eve watching some old films that made us both laugh – Notting Hill and Bridget Jones, whilst we waited for the inevitable fireworks and tried to head off the dog’s panic. We actually did rather well this year, imagine hubby and I adding to a full blast rendition of On the Floor by Jennifer Lopez to cover the bangs and you get the picture!

I have only made one new year’s resolution – to get out more lol. I appear to have become a bit of a hermit lately, even before being ill.

And, I have a new book out on 23 January 2024. A New Arrival in Borteen Bay is now up for pre-order on Amazon. Whoo hoo book 7!

The novel tells the story of four characters – Skye, Adam, Buzz and Wynn and has a fair smattering of characters readers will recognise from my other books in The Secrets of Borteen Bay series.
