By the time my blog readers read this post we will be empty nesters, having dropped our youngest son at university. This will be the first time I have no childminding duties since 1988!!!
Having said that, I still have the dog, lol.
While this feels like a huge change in my life, I’m hoping I can find more time for me in the coming months and more time for writing. I’m just putting the finishing touches to my seventh Borteen book for Choc Lit. Then maybe it’s time for something new?
Meanwhile my sixth Borteen Book, Summer at Lucerne Lodge is on sale for kindle at the moment at 99p, so grab a bargain here.

Normal blog service will be resumed next week. We have posts from Caroline James, Mick Arnold, Lisa Hill, Evonne Wareham and Jenni Keer to look forward to soon.

New phase of your life. We have done it for three children. It’s when I started writing in earnest. It hurts at first when you go into their empty rooms, but you will get used to it – and cooking less too! Good luck!

It is quite a wrench. Mind you oldest son has moved back home several times since university 🤣
